  • class sizes capped at 9 students for a more personalised experience

  • classes are run on a term basis following the school term. New students can pay $50 for a 2 week trial before committing to the rest of the term. Mid-term bookings & drop ins possible if class is not full - check the bookings page.

  • indoor/outdoor setup with natural ventilation

  • most classes are 75min except for Yoga Calm which is 60min.  Quarterly restorative yoga class is 2 hours.

  • most classes are beginner friendly except for Sunday vinyasa flow.

  • you also receive access to a selection of online yoga classes in case you miss a class or want to practice more yoga at home.

  • if you miss a class during the term, you can attend another class during the week (subject to availability, please ask me) or practice from the complimentary online library (see above).

  • discount available if attending more than 1 class per week - get 10% off the term for each class. For a 10 week term, this means you only pay for 9 classes. 

Class descriptions

SLOW VINYASA FLOW (move & stretch): A combination of hatha vinyasa yoga & functional movement together with breathwork (pranayama) & mindfulness practices.  Often props are used in the class such as blocks, blankets, bolsters, chairs & the wall in order to enhance your practice &/or make it more accessible & safer. The perfect way to unwind physical & mental tension, release stress, replenish your energy, calm the mind & balance your nervous system.. The Friday slow flow class is gentler & suitable for beginners. The Sunday class is more suited towards those with some yoga experience, although beginners are welcome to try the class.

YIN (deep stretch & mindfulness): A slow paced class with little movement & longer held postures on the floor (usually 3-5min) targeting not only the muscles but also the connective tissues in the body (fascia, joints, ligaments & tendons). During the longer holds, we practice mindfulness techniques to calm the mind & foster presence. Being influenced by Traditional Chinese Medicine, yin helps to balance the flow of energy (Qi) throughout the body as it targets the energy channels (meridians).  Each class usually focuses on a specific meridian pair. A great practice to release physical tension & stress, calm your nervous system, settle the mind & restore your energy. Suitable for all, including beginners.

 

Yoga Calm (move, breath & relax): The perfect combination of gentle movement & stretching followed by breathwork and ending in deep relaxation with restorative yoga. Tap into the power of your breath & explore different breathing techniques, both ancient & modern, to help you regulate your nervous system, reduce stress & tension & feel calmer, more focused & relaxed. 

RESTORATIVE (rest & relax):  A gentle & nourishing practice that uses props (bolsters, blankets, blocks, eye pillows) to support the body in comfortable positions in order to calm the nervous system & facilitate deep rest, relaxation, healing & insight. Great for reducing stress, busy-ness, anxiety, overwhelm, fatigue, chronic pain & illness. May also support recovery from long COVID & other chronic illnesses. Suitable for all, including beginners.
